Engrescats ha de pagar 37.000 euros als veterinaris. 






Sabem que tenim un límit, però la situació de les Terres de l’Ebre en matèria de benestar animal ha fet que els darrers anys ens convertíssim en la protectora de referència de casos greus.  I quan ens arriba un cas així, mai hem pogut dir que no. Ni a particulars, ni a altres associacions més menudes que ens ho han demanat. 







 




El nostre dia a dia ve determinat per aquests casos greus, animals atropellats o que han patit algun accident, amb infeccions, amb malalties greus, amb fractures impossibles, aquells que només els queda un fil de vida... Els lluitem a tots. Busquem els millors veterinaris i els millors especialistes, els portem on faci falta per donar-los la oportunitat d’una vida digna, la que mai han tingut. 







 




Però això que comporta?







Acumular un deute que, avui, ens impossibilita continuar dient que sí a tot aquests casos. No volem parar, no podem parar. 







Tot i els preus ajustats que ens fan els veterinaris, les hospitalitzacions gratuïtes i les mil maneres en que ens ajuden, podem pagar 10.000 euros mensuals, però sempre és una mica menys del que hem gastat, i això ha fet que se’ns acumuli un import que ara mateix ens ofega. 







 




Engrescats som vida, Engrescats som l’últim bastió on molts animals es poden agarrar per salvar-se.  







 




I avui, ara mateix, necessitem que darrera aquest bastió, al nostre costat, protegint-los i ajudant-los, també estigueu vosaltres.

We know we have a limit, but the situation in Terres de l’Ebre in terms of animal welfare has made us become the shelter of reference of serious cases in recent years. And when such a case comes to us, we have never been able to say no. Neither to a particular or any other smaller animal rescue association. 



 


Our day to day is determined by these serious cases, animals that have been run over or suffered an accident, with infections, with serious illnesses, with impossible bone fractures, those that only have one threat of life left…. We fight them all. We look for the best vets and the best specialists, we take them where it is needed to give them the opportunity of a dignified life, the one they have never had. 



 


But what does that entail?



Accumulating a debt, which today, makes it impossible for us to continue saying yes to all of these cases. We don’t want to stop, we can’t stop.



Despite the tight prices the vets charge us, free hospitalizations and the thousand ways they help us, we can pay 10.000 euros a month, but it’s always a little less than what we have spent, and that has caused us to accumulate an amount that, right now, is drowning us. 



 


Engrescats are life, Engrescats are the last fortress where many animals can cling to salvation. 



 


And today, right now, we need you to be behind this fortress, by our side, protecting and helping them.



 


37.000 euros seems like a high hill to climb, one can’t do it by himself, but with everyone’s help, we can reach the top.
