Warrior at Heart

On August 29th our lives completely changed when we received word that Anthony was accidentally shot in the face. He was rushed to the hospital with very little hope of survival; the doctors believed that he would not make it through the night and prepared the family for the worse. AJ proved them wrong that evening and with God's mercy, he held on to life. 
AJ is currently diagnosed as a quadriplegic; he is breathing through a ventilator and has not regained any feeling or mobility in his body but we are strong in our faith that God will heal him. Anthony is full of hope and he is such a strong soul that we are confident in his recovery.  He has a long fight ahead of him, but AJ has proven to be a warrior day after day and will undoubtably overcome this tragedy. Spinal injuries are common and can be addressed with the right type of therapy.
