Tanzi and family need some help with housing

Tanzi is my daughter's pre-school teacher for several years. She's is a bright light in her life, always caring with a smile. You would have no idea how challenging her personal life is. One day she shared (with a smile on her face, as always) that she was tired, and explained her current situation.

See, Tanzi has a husband and two teenagers (13 year old boy, 17 year old girl) at home. They are dedicated working class employees, living  paycheck to paycheck, but recently they had to move out of a home they were renting because it was not safe and the landlord was not willing to help. This move forced them to bounce from hotels and airbnbs making each paycheck stretch to the limit. You can imagine the challenge this puts on them to maintain school/study schedules, work schedules, etc.  They haven't been able to save up for application fees, deposits, or anything else, due to hotel fees.  This has been going on for months!  I only found out because I asked if they settled into a new place yet and she shared (with a smile, again) that they are still hoping to save up to find one. 

While both are still working full-time established jobs, finances are obviously very tight.  They had to leave their furniture behind as well (they can't really carry it from hotel to hotel).  So, once they do make it into an apartment, the next problem for them to solve will be furniture (beds for the kids, at a minimum).

I can't help thinking, this is a story I read about that leads to good people living in shelters or in their car.  I can't imagine that life for Tanzi and her family! They really just need to get over this hump, stop the financial spiral they are in, get into a place of their own, and restore some stability in their daily lives.
