Thanks for the taking the time to visit and considering donating to a good cause. I am Bill Giesler and I am just one of the many friends of Pedro Gala who was floored by the news that our good friend was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. I am asking old friends and new friends to rally around our friend, who will need all of our support as he fights this nasty disease and the unexpected medical expenses.
A little about Pedro. First and foremost, Pedro is a father of five and a grandfather of two. He has been married to his loving wife, Kim for 25 years, and she will admit to that too. Probably the one thing that I have always admired about Pedro is his ability to cultivate long-lasting friendships from a diverse group of people. He is the epitome of a “salt of the earth” kind of guy. He is true to his family and friends and true to his faith. He’s the friend you call when need a favor and no matter what it is, he will do whatever he can to help. He’s the guy you call when you just need somebody to talk to. He’s the guy you call when you need a good belly-laugh. He’s the guy that gives you the shirt off his own back if sees you need it more. Bottom line, he’s the guy you want to call your friend.
Most people would meet this terrible diagnosis with a defeatist attitude and sing “woe is me,” but not Pedro; he is determined to beat this thing, but he is going to need our support. I am asking for your help and support for him - since he would never do it himself. Please donate if you can, to help defray the astronomical medical costs that are heading his way, lost income dur to time off from work, and the travel expenses to and from his treatments. We don’t want Pedro stressed out over debt, we want Pedro focused on beating this nasty sh*t and spending a long and cancer-free life with his family and friends.
Pedro would never ask, so, I am asking for him. I humbly ask his friends to donate and rally around him and then watch in awe as he beats the crap out of cancer.
