Medical Bills for Tanya H.

Hey folks. My name is Brandi. I am starting this GoFundMe account for my mother. Her name is Tanya Hepburn. She is a very special lady whom has met many obstacles in her life, but chooses to remain faithful to God! My mother's medical story begins four years ago this October. She had a heart attack, that not only scared all of us, but changed her life forever. She was diagnosed with severe fibromyalgia, mitral valve prolapse, narrowing of her neck canal, degenerative arthritis, damage to her main nerve root, rheumatoid arthritis in her hands, knees, ankles, and feet. She also deals with cerebral fluid leakage, four different types of headaches, has a tumor on her kidney, and on top of all this she is borderline diabetic. No all these issues were not from the heart attack, but the heart attack caused the fibromyalgia to settle into severe; and then all the other medical problems were found. I say all this to say: before all of this mess she was able to do anything and everything. I never knew my mother to sit still for long. Now, some days it is all she can do to get out of bed. Depression has hit her hard. She has a grandson whom she longs to run and play with, but cannot; and now she has two more grandbabies due this year. Every day is a challenge for her. All my mother has known all her life has been God, family, friends, and work. After all these diagnosis’s she was told she would never work again. What does that entail for her? That means no income for her to buy insurance, pay bills, buy groceries, and pay medical bills. She is scheduled for an appointment with the Medical University of South Carolina July 1st, then in August she is schedule to see a rheumatologist for her RA. The medical bills continue to come in. All the while, our family does what we can to assist with the bills, and her husband works his full-time job, with no insurance to provide for them what he can. He never complains and neither do we. We all just want our wife, mom, sister, friend, nana back to her normal self. Hopefully, with the help of your donations, we will be able to get the answers and help she needs. It is hard times for everyone financially, so we appreciate any donations made. This woman is my hero, through everything she’s been through she still smiles through the rain! I love you Mom.
