It is true that we don’t know what the plan is for the days ahead but we know that Jody & Jim will not walk them alone.
They have both shown us all exquisite examples of family, love, service, dedication, and loyalty. In doing so, they have touched us all in SO MANY different ways.
Many friends and family members have been praying and visiting, but wish we could do more.
What if we could?
Our Uncle Jim is a many things, including a proud veteran. It has always been on his “bucket list” to see Pearl Harbor and to share the beautiful shores of Hawaii with the love of his life, our Aunt Jody.
We have helped them book flights to make this happen - SOON — in July! With the doctor’s permission, they are cleared to spend 10 days living a big dream together with their son Jimmy and his wife Diana.
The flight is booked and the idea of a trip free from hospitals and treatments is hopeful.
Can we help make it happen for them?
They do not know this page has been formed (and we can’t imagine the fuss our Aunt DoDo, the planner of all planners and caretaker of everyone, would make if she knew), but we wanted to extend the invitation to allow those that love them to help gift them with this trip of a lifetime.
Please contribute only if you can and feel led to. Monies donated will go toward their accommodations and expenses during the trip.
Please continue to keep them in your prayers. We know Jody & Jim believe in miracles - even if they don’t know what those miracles look like - and that the gift of faith is a gift to us all.
