Cuddle Cot in Honor of Ajla

“Infant death is a harsh reality we cannot prevent and we cannot always foresee. When parents are forced to say good-bye so shortly after hello, every minute matters. Would you help us give the gift of time to grieving parents nationwide?”
As many of our friends and family know, we lost our sweet baby girl, Ajla Joy Badzic, this past Thanksgiving. She passed away at 6 months old in the pediatric intensive care unit here in Boise at St. Lukes.

Unfortunately, around two hundred woman lose a baby at some point during pregnancy alone in the state of Idaho and more are lost after. No one can describe the tremendous pain that a family can go through during such a loss. I am here today to try and make the terrible a little less terrible.
In 2011, a company called Flexmort developed what is known as the “Cuddle Cot.” The Cuddle Cot is a cot which keeps the baby cool to prolong the amount of time a parent could spend with their baby. In circumstances where a baby is born sleeping, that day or two they can spend with their baby is everything. By donating a few dollars or sharing this post and getting the word out, you can provide mothers with the opportunity to spend more time with their child when it matters the most.
In the state of Idaho currently 18 out of 32 hospitals are equipped with a Cuddle Cot. By working with Little Joys Remembrance Foundation, I want to raise the funds to help place a cuddle cot in honor of Ajla to either the P.I.C.U at St. Luke’s in Boise if they are willing to accept one or another hospitals in the state in need. A list of hospitals needing one can be found in the following link:
