New roof

Back in January 2017, we had heavy rains here and our roof of 17 years started leaking. We reported it to our insurance and they said it was "normal wear and tear"; although in all these years it had never leaked. The structural engineer hired by the insurance company stated it was due to "inadequate ventilation at the apex of the roof". So we went to the manufacturer; Champion Homes, and were told manufacturers warranties expire after one year[ this is a 1999]. We have been able to save over 1/2 the cost but really need help with the rest of the cost. The roof is estimated to cost $12,500 and work should be starting in 4 weeks. Time is of the essence here and any and all contributions would be most appreciated. For my tax clients, you all know I don't charge excessively, I believe in making a fair profit. I have many on extensions that have not come in yet with their paperwork. So please, find it in your hearts to help us; we would help you if the shoe was on the other foot. We are under contract with a wonderful company.
