Aiutiamo MIRA nelle Filippine!

Ciao a tutti, mi chiamo Grace e ho iniziato a raccogliere fondi per la piccola Mira.

Mira è il diminutivo di MIRACOLO.

Mira è la mia nipotina nata "per forza" il 29 agosto 2021. Perché "per forza"? A metà agosto sua madre Rona è stata colpita severamente dal Covid-19 mentre era al 7° mese di gravidanza. Nel giro di poche settimane era peggiorata fino ad andare in coma. I medici hanno dovuto indurre il parto cercando di salvarle entrambe. Tre giorni dopo, Rona è morta senza nemmeno aver dato il primo saluto a sua figlia. Da allora Mira, ha lottato e piano piano si sta riprendendo. Da pochi giorni le hanno tolto il respiratore e sarebbe pronta per tornare a casa da suo padre Gemboy e da sua sorella Gidang (di 7 anni).

Il problema è che nelle Filippine la sanità non è pubblica e mio cugino Gemboy ha dovuto prendersi carico delle spese mediche sia della moglie che della figlia prosciugando le proprie risorse finanziarie e la propria capacità di credito. Nonostante l'aiuto di noi famigliari, lui non è riuscito a coprire tutte le spese ospedaliere e mediche.

Tra le medicine, la permanenza nel reparto intensivo neonatale, le spese di laboratorio e i respiratori si è arrivati a circa €15.000 di spesa per Mira.

Hi everyone, my name is Grace and I started to raise money for little Mira.
Mira is short of MIRACLE.
Mira is my niece born "inevitably" on August 29, 2021. Why "inevitably"? In mid-August, her mother Rona was severely affected by Covid-19 while she was in her 7th month of pregnancy. Within a few weeks she had worsened until she went to coma. The doctors had to induce the birth trying to save them both. Three days later, Rona died without seeing her daughter for a second. Since then Mira has struggled and is slowly recovering. A few days ago they removed the respiratory and she should be ready to go home to her father Gemboy and her sister Gidang (7 years old).
The problem is that health care in the Philippines is so expensive and my cousin Gemboy had to pay for both his wife and daughter's medical bills, draining his financial resources and creditworthiness. Despite the help of us family, he was unable to cover all hospital and medical expenses.
Among the medicines, the stay in the neonatal intensive ward, laboratory costs and respiratories, Mira need to spend about € 15,000.
