ITA and English Version| Quella che vedete é ciò che rimane della casa della famiglia Paja. Il signore e la signora Paja e i loro tre figli di 6, 11 e 16 anni stanno affrontando una battaglia che nessun bambino dovrebbe mai essere chiamato a combattere, che sta schiacciando il loro diritto ad avere un futuro, dei sogni e persino una casa sicura in cui abitare.
La famiglia ha sempre versato in una situazione di grave precarietà economica, ma il terremoto del 2019 in Albania, che ha duramente colpito il loro villaggio, Rrasë (Belsh), ha decisamente peggiorato la situazione, distruggendo la casa in cui hanno sempre vissuto e riducendola ad un rudere. Il terremoto ha ampiamente danneggiato il tetto, le fondamenta e le pareti della casa, rendendola inabitabile. Purtroppo però, questa famiglia non ha un altro posto dove poter abitare ed attualmente continua a vivere nell'abitazione pericolante, completamente esposta alle intemperie. Fino a poche settimane fa la famiglia Paja ha dormito sotto la neve, poiché il tetto, gravemente danneggiato, non puó isolare da pioggia, neve, freddo ed altre condizioni atmosferiche.
La conferenza giovani Società di San Vincenzo De Paoli in Albania, insieme a Caritas Sud Albania e alle Figlie della Carità Mollas, si occupa di portare viveri ed assistenza ai signori Paja ed ai loro figli. Tra i numerosi problemi che la famiglia Paja deve quotidianamente affrontare, quello di poter vivere in una casa sicura ed abitabile é sicuramente il più urgente al momento. Per questo, i giovani della Società di San Vincenzo De Paoli lombarda ed albanese, insieme a Caritas Sud Albania e alle Figlie della Carità Mollas, hanno condiviso un progetto di promozione che ridona dignità alla famiglia, attivandosi per la ristrutturazione dell'abitazione in cui la famiglia Paja vive e che da sola non può affrontare. L’obiettivo è anche la valorizzazione dei componenti della famiglia stessa, per una vita più dignitosa e di qualità. Le rilevazioni hanno confermato che la cifra necessaria per ripristinare la casa ammonta a circa € 22.000. I signori Paja ed i loro tre bambini hanno sempre affrontato una vita difficile ed ora, dopo che il terremoto li ha privati anche della loro casa, devono ricominciare da zero e da soli non hanno la possibilità di farlo. The family has always been in a situation of serious economic precariousness, but the 2019 earthquake in Albania, which hit their village, Rrasë (Belsh) very seriously, has severely worsened the situation, destroying the house where they have always lived, reducing it to a ruin. The earthquake damaged the roof, foundations and walls of the house, making it unliveable. Unfortunately, this family has no other place where to live and they continue to live in the collapsing house, completely exposed to the elements. Until a few weeks ago, the Paja family slept in the snow, as the roof, severely damaged, cannot insulate from rain, snow, cold and other weather conditions.
The Society of Saint Vincent De Paul in Albania, together with Caritas South Albania and the Daughters of Charity Mollas, takes care of bringing food and assistance to Mr. and Mrs. Paja and their children. Among the many problems that the Paja family face every day, that of being able to live in a safe and habitable house is certainly the most urgent at the moment. For this reason, the Lombard and Albanian Society of Saint Vincent de Paul, together with Caritas South Albania and the Daughters of Charity Mollas, decided to take action to restore the Paja family home. The evaluations confirmed that the sum needed to restore the house amounts to around € 22,000. Mr. and Mrs. Paja and their three children have always faced a difficult life and now, after the earthquake has also deprived them of their home, they have to start from scratch and they cannot do it alone. We hope you can help enable us to carry out this indispensable project and give the Paja family their home back!
