Ciao a tutti,

mi chiamo Davide e scrivo con il cuore in mano per chiedere un aiuto per Milo, il mio jack russell di 10 anni.

Milo è il mio compagno di vita da quando era un cucciolo, come se fosse un figlio e penso lo possiate capire.

È sempre stato al mio fianco, nei momenti belli e in quelli difficili… È pieno di energia, amore e testardaggine (come solo i jack russell sanno essere).

Purtroppo, ora non riesce più a camminare senza dolore: ha bisogno urgente di un intervento al legamento crociato della zampa posteriore sinistra. È una condizione dolorosa e invalidante, e senza operazione rischia di non usare più quella zampa.

Non è la prima volta che affrontiamo questa sfida…(come da foto)

L’anno scorso Milo è stato operato all’altra zampa per lo stesso problema, ma in quel caso è stato necessario anche impiantare una protesi al posto della rotula. L’intervento è stato molto complesso e mi è costato quasi tre volte rispetto a quello attuale.

Ho fatto tutto il possibile allora e continuerò a farlo ma ora ho bisogno di un aiuto.

Il nuovo intervento costa 1.700€, e purtroppo non riesco ad affrontarlo da solo in questo momento. Sto cercando di raccogliere almeno parte della cifra, per poterlo operare il prima possibile.

Se puoi donare anche solo 1€, per me (e per Milo) sarebbe un gesto immenso.

Se non puoi, ti chiedo solo di condividere questa raccolta con chi ama gli animali: ogni piccola azione può fare la differenza.

Hi everyone,

my name is Davide and I’m writing this with my heart in my hands, asking for help for Milo, my 10-year-old Jack Russell.

Milo has been my life companion since he was a puppy — like a son to me, and I think many of you can understand that.

He’s always been by my side, through the good times and the hard ones… full of energy, love, and stubbornness (as only Jack Russells can be).

Unfortunately, he can no longer walk without pain.

He urgently needs surgery on the cruciate ligament of his rear left leg. It’s a painful and disabling condition — without the operation, he may lose the use of that leg entirely.

This isn’t the first time we’ve faced this challenge… (as you can see from the photos).

Last year, Milo had surgery on the other leg for the same issue, but that time it was even more serious: he needed a prosthetic implant to replace the kneecap.

That surgery was complex and cost me nearly three times what this one will.

I did everything I could then — and I will continue to do everything I can — but right now, I need a little help.

This new surgery costs €1,700, and unfortunately, I can’t afford it on my own at the moment. I’m trying to raise at least part of the amount so Milo can be operated on as soon as possible.
