Zahir's Warriors: Fighting DSRCT

My son Zahir is a 15 yo young man that is battling the ultimate battle....the battle for his life. Zahir was diagnosed with DSRCT (Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumor) which is a very rare cancer at the age of 13. What we initially thought was pain from his appendix turned out to be tumors growing in his abdomen and lower pelvic area. Since his diagnosis on 11/11/11 he has undergone extensive chemotherapy, a debulking surgery, port placements, cell extractions, radiation (internal and external) as well as participated in various trials. Unfortunately these things haven't given us the ultimate result which is disease free! But we have not given up the fight. Zahir continues to fight even while continuing to go to school and bring home A's which is very important to him. He is a joy to be around making the people around him either laugh or think deeply. So mature beyond his years and a sweetheart.....my pride and joy.

We are asking for donations to help with the cost of lingering medical bills, help with living finances and also to help give him as many experiences as possible. I want for him to have the chance to experience as much as life has to offer. Anything you can spare would be appreciated even if what you can offer is an experience for him. Also his 16th birthday is coming up soon and I would love to be able to throw him a party.
