Sasha, Casey and their little ones Wayde (2.5) and Ellie (nearly 1) were one of the many Houstonian's whose homes were unexpectedly lost in Hurricane Harvey's flood waters. The house held up until the dams released more water than their street could handle, and the four of them grabbed what they could and were evacuated by a volunteer organization, the Cajun Navy.
Zero damages are covered by their insurance. The cars were under six feet of water and are completely gone, with no hope of reimbursement. The house is in the very beginning stages of clean up, and the family is expected to be displaced for up to a couple of months.
The immediate needs are replacing a car, two car seats, covering day to day living expenses, replacing clothing & supplies, and funding what they need to eventually return to Houston. Sasha is staying with the children at her parent's house in Southern California while Casey works on the house back home in Kingwood.
If you are looking to help someone directly during this disaster, your contribution will go directly towards a sweet young family. Any amount helps, even just 5$.
Thank you. <3
