Please help Aisha Corona attend her dream school!!

HELP ME STUDY IN THE SCHOOL OF MY DREAMS, AND I’LL DEDICATE YOU A VIOLIN PRACTICE VIDEO!

My name is Aisha Corona, I’m an 18-year-old Mexican violinist.

I have been accepted on full scholarship to the prestigious Haute École de Musique (HEMU) in Switzerland. I need help with living expenses for the next two years. My most immediate need is to secure an apartment and to arrange for food, transportation, and other needs.

Here are my accomplishments so far:

• Started playing violin at age 4.

• Debuted as a soloist with an orchestra at age 6, being the youngest Mexican to ever do that.

• Started music college (bachelor’s degree) at age 15.

• Won the National Prize to the Youth in Artistic Expressions, which is the highest award given by the president of Mexico.

• Winner of 13 international music competitions (in the USA, London, Singapore).

• Soloist in more than 20 performances with orchestras from Mexico and the United States.

• Invited to perform at Carnegie Hall in 2022.

• My story with music can be found in the book “Mexicanas Chidas”, next to celebrities such as Yalitza Aparicio, Elisa Carrillo and Elena Poniatowska.

I was admitted to the school of my dreams to study a master’s degree in musical interpretation. The Haute École de Musique (HEMU) is one of the best schools for violinists in the world, having professors such as Janine Jansen and Renaud Capuçon (celebrities in the musical environment).

76 violinists competed from all over the world, and there were only 8 admitted to start our studies in September of 2021. I’m going to study with a magnificent professor, Virginie Robilliard, who graduated from the Juilliard School of Music and who is a renowned pedagogue.

Thanks to a Swiss-Mexican foundation called “Crescendo con la Música,” I’m already registered with a full tuition scholarship.

My financial problem started when the Swiss embassy asked me to have the economic solvency for my monthly living expenses of 2500 CHF (Aprox. 2787 USD a month), and that’s when I realized I’m going to study in one of the most expensive countries of the world, and that my family doesn’t have the resources to pay for my stay.

I’ve been looking for more financial aid associations in Mexico and Switzerland but all of the deadlines to apply for any scholarship have already passed.
