Keep Up with Air Provocateurs

Donation protected
We are Air Provocateurs; a duo of aerial artists based in San Francisco, California.  When we met each other, we knew that we were born to be partners and had something very special to share with the world.  We come from different stories of feats, triumphs, and want to inspire everyone to burn down any obstacles that get in the way of pursuing their passions.  We motivate eachother through teamwork and heartfelt devotion to follow every passion in our bodys, minds, and souls.  Our passion is art - we are working tirelessly to create an aerial arts based fitness program to encourage body awareness and and self-confidence in women of all body types and backgrounds.

Our goal is to get a free standing aerial rig. We are in the process of partnering with local gyms to hold aerial workout classes. The portable rig will give us exposure at upcoming street fairs and festivals. By donating to this cause, YOU can touch the lives of hundreds of women. We want to give back to the community in offering affordable classes. Thank you for believing in us and our entrepreneurial dreams.

"My drive began when I started taking aerial classes a little over one year ago because I was 40 lbs. overweight from post-pregnancy, with low self-esteem, and feeling hopelessness from living in a homeless shelter. I remember the moment I was strong enough to lift my body and climb to the top. My spirit and energy was lifted to new heights because I finally believed I can do anything. Soon, I was doing splits in the air. Next thing I know, I’m performing with Alexa in front of a thousand people who watched us tell our stories through aerial dance. I knew this is what I was meant to do. I didn't grow up with a positive female role model in my life. Through silk and dance, I can be that woman of value for my daughter." -Madison

"I am an artist. I am a painter, an aerialist, a dancer, a musician.  There is an innate need in my soul to create art.  I feel it in my bones everyday.  It drives me to create art from my happiness, from my successes, from my failures.  Aerial art is not only an incredible workout, but it is fun, challenging, and it makes you feel like a superhero.  You feel a sense of empowerment like no other while you are in the air.  I want people to know about it, to try it, and to love it as much as I do." -Alexa
