Help children of the Philippines

In February 2015 I am embarking on a journey to the Philippines to provide my knowledge, expertise and open heart and mind to wherever I can be of assistance.
Most of this will be volunteer based and self funded.
In addition to my time and knowledge, I would really like to be able to provide resources to organisations, particularly in the field of health. Being a Registered Nurse for nearly 9 years this is my passion.
I would like to be able to provide some organisations with equipment we take for granted in Australia such as clean and safe medical equipment, nutrients and medicines. As well as educational and equipment to support psychosocial needs where appropriate.
In order to do this, I need financial assistance. If anyone is able to donate any money to this project, it would be extremely appreciated. I will continually update on where the money is going, how it's being used and the people who are benefiting from it.
UNICEF Philippines statistics show that there are approximately 12 million children under the age of 5.
23 out of 1,000 will die before they reach their first birthday.
28 out of 1, 000 will die before they turn 5.
These deaths are a result of poor nutrition, low immunization rates, lack of nutritional supplements and inadequate attention to cognitive and psychosocial development.
Of the 13 million children between 6 -11 years, 2 million are not at school and only 67% will eventually complete basic elementary education (to year 5).
Of the 10 million 12 -17 year old, almost 60% of the students who do make secondary education will actually complete it.
In regards to childbirth, 160 women in 100, 000 births die. Thats approximately 11 women per day.
Furthermore, there are an estimated 1.5 million 'street kids' in the Philippines. These children range from simply working on the streets to help support their families, to being completely abandoned with no family or home. All are severly undernourished, un educated and at extremely high risk of child exploitation, including sexual.
Having seen the surface of the above statistics on my trips to the Philippines and experiencing firsthand, the Filipino kindness, wamth and infectious smiles by even the poorest people has inspired me to provide my aassistance.
