Help Amanda dreams come true

On the morning of November 4th 2017,  at approximately 7:00 am Amanda Williams of Elsmere, DE was rushed to the A.I Dupont Hospital.

Amanda's mother, Tricia Williams of Elsmere, Delaware heard what seemed to be gargling noises from Amanda's room and when Amanda didn't respond,
Tricia rushed into her daughters' room and noticed her daughter was not responding. Tricia called out to her husband, Gladstone Williams who called the paramedics. Amanda was then rushed to the emergency room where she continued to suffer from massive seizures throughout the rest of the day. 

Amanda has since been diagnosed with
Autoimmune Encephalitis, a condition in which her immune system attacks its healthy cells causing disruptions in her muscle movements, speech, and brain function. 

Amanda Williams is a honors student at Delcastle Technical High School. She also enjoyed playing field hockey. Amanda wanted to pursue basketball but missed tryouts because of the seizures.  Amanda is loved by her family and the community around her.  Amanda has 3 younger siblings that mean the world to her.

Our goal is to Aid in Amanda's Fight 4 Life by reaching our goal of $15,000 by 12/12/2017 to help pay for Amanda's medical expenses.  Amanda is in high spirits and wants to reach her personal goal of going ice skating by her birthday with her friends and family.

Amanda is currently in ICU (Intensive Care Unit) and is undergoing treatment that consists a dynamic team of doctors ranging from physical therapists, neurologist, occupational therapist and many other treatments.

Friends and family are asked to call and visit anytime they can. Amanda needs our prayer and our support in the families time of need.
