Our beloved son, Aidin Goodrich, was killed in a tragic hit-and-run accident this past Friday night (October 25th). He was a great kid, a kind person, and a free spirit with a big heart. He was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend and was devoted to his family and friends. Aidin was a Senior at West Ashley High School.
As we struggle to navigate the path of grief and loss that is our new reality, we have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love, prayers, and support for our family from our friends, our extended family, the friends of friends, and so many others in our community that we don't even know. We appreciate you all.
So many of you have asked what we need and/or how you can help and we are thankful for your concern. Our biggest need right now is help paying for Aidin's funeral and memorial expenses. The last thing we want to do is ask anyone for money, but, on our own, we just can't pull together anything close to the amount we need to properly lay him to rest.
So, we are asking for donations to help us pay for Aidin's funeral and memorial costs. We deeply appreciate any consideration on Aidin's behalf.
Please help us lay Aidin to rest with the dignity and respect that he deserves and that were not extended to him at the time of his accident and death.
