<div>Je m'appelle Carlo Baugé. Ce n'est pas facile d'écrire ces quelques lignes mais je le fais avec tout l'amour et l'espoir que j'ai.

<div>Je crée ce projet de dons pour mon petit frère Giovanni, 31 ans. Il vit au Vietnam avec sa femme Hana et son fils de bientôt 1 an Gabriel. C'est un frère, un mari et un papa incroyable qui traverse avec un courage hors du commun l'épreuve la plus dure de sa vie : des parasites qui le rongent de l'intérieur.

<div>Après plusieurs années de gênes grandissantes, douleurs, essais de divers traitements, le 18 février 2025 les parasites atteignent son cœur. Cela a engendré une myocardite et depuis il ne peut plus se lever de son lit, il n'est pas transportable et les médecins n'ont toujours pas trouvé de traitement. Chaque jour est une lutte qu'il mène avec ténacité et espoir, pour lui, pour sa femme Hana et son fils de 1 an Gabriel. Aujourd'hui certains médicaments le soulagent et il peut parler brièvement et bouger un peu, bien qu'il ne puisse pas se lever.

<div>Ceux qui connaissent Giovanni savent combien il est sensible, combien il cherche toujours à prendre soin des autres en les conseillant pour leur nutrition, leur santé, moi le premier. C'est dans cet esprit de service qu'il a fondé avec sa femme le centre de santé et bient-être H&amp;G Eden à Hanoï, pour venir en aide aux habitants des environs.

<div>Aujourd'hui c'est lui qui a besoin qu'on prenne soin de lui. Sa femme utilise toutes ses forces pour lui apporter toute l'aide et le soutien dont il a besoin, tout en s'occupant de la maison et du petit Gabriel. Mais l'activité du centre est à l'arrêt et ils n'ont bientôt plus de ressources pour subvenir aux besoins de la famille et essayer d'autres traitements.

<div>Un espoir : les dernières pistes pour pouvoir trouver un traitement ou le rapatriement en France lorsqu'il sera transportable. Au Vietnam ils n'ont pas le matériel suffisant pour détecter et identifier les parasites dont Giovanni est affecté. Mais en Corée du Sud un laboratoire serait en mesure de réaliser les analyses nécessaires. Tout en essayant un nouveau médicament antiparasitaire, nous allons tout mettre en œuvre pour pouvoir envoyer les échantillons à analyser au laboratoire coréen. Si cela n'aboutit pas nous envisagerons peut-être un rapatriement mais ses conditions ne le permettent pas encore.

<div>Pourquoi on a besoin de vous ❤️

<div>Votre don, peu importe le montant, peut aider Giovanni et sa famille à trouver un traitement dans la paix, à traverser cette épreuve immense sans l'angoisse de se retrouver sans argent, sans logement. En attendant de trouver un traitement, Hana fait appel à de nouveaux spécialistes qui doivent se déplacer et amener le matériel nécessaire pour les soins ce qui augmente considérablement la charge financière qu'ils doivent supporter, dans un pays où il n'a pas droit à la sécurité sociale.

<div>Les dons amassés aideront Giovanni et sa famille à faire face à leurs dépenses courantes (1700€/mois) et les frais de santé (350€/mois) sur les mois à venir, à offrir à Giovanni un environnement paisible et propice à la guérison, à permettre à sa famille de rester unie et forte, au petit Gabriel qui ne comprend pas tout mais ressent tout, de commencer sa première année de vie entouré de l'amour dont il a besoin.

<div>Sto creando questo progetto di raccolta fondi per mio fratello minore Giovanni, 31 anni. Vive in Vietnam con sua moglie Hana e il loro figlio Gabriel, che tra poco compirà 1 anno. È un fratello, un marito e un papà straordinario, che sta affrontando con un coraggio fuori dal comune la prova più dura della sua vita: dei parassiti che lo stanno consumando dall'interno.

<div>Dopo diversi anni di fastidi crescenti, dolori e vari tentativi di trattamento, il 18 febbraio 2025 i parassiti hanno raggiunto il suo cuore. Questo ha causato una miocardite e da allora non riesce più ad alzarsi dal letto, non può essere trasportato e i medici non hanno ancora trovato una cura. Ogni giorno è una lotta che affronta con tenacia e speranza, per sé, per sua moglie Hana e per il piccolo Gabriel. Oggi alcuni farmaci gli danno un po’ di sollievo: riesce a parlare brevemente e a muoversi leggermente, anche se non può alzarsi.

<div>Chi conosce Giovanni sa quanto sia sensibile e quanto si sia sempre preso cura degli altri, consigliandoli sull’alimentazione e sulla salute, io per primo. È con questo spirito di servizio che ha fondato insieme a sua moglie il centro di salute e benessere H&amp;G Eden ad Hanoi, per aiutare la popolazione locale.

<div>Oggi è lui ad aver bisogno di essere aiutato. Sua moglie sta dedicando tutte le sue forze per fornirgli l'assistenza e il sostegno di cui ha bisogno, occupandosi al contempo della casa e del piccolo Gabriel. Ma l’attività del centro è ferma e presto non avranno più risorse per provvedere ai bisogni della famiglia e tentare altri trattamenti.

<div>Una speranza: le ultime possibilità per trovare una cura o organizzare un rimpatrio in Francia quando sarà trasportabile. In Vietnam non dispongono delle attrezzature necessarie per individuare e identificare i parassiti che hanno colpito Giovanni. Ma in Corea del Sud un laboratorio potrebbe effettuare le analisi necessarie. Mentre si prova un nuovo farmaco antiparassitario, faremo tutto il possibile per inviare i campioni al laboratorio coreano. Se non dovesse funzionare, valuteremo un rimpatrio, anche se al momento le sue condizioni non lo permettono.

<div>I am creating this donation campaign for my little brother Giovanni, 31 years old. He lives in Vietnam with his wife Hana and their son Gabriel, who will soon turn one. He is an incredible brother, husband, and father who is facing, with extraordinary courage, the most difficult trial of his life: parasites that are eating away at him from within.

<div>After several years of increasing discomfort, pain, and various treatment attempts, on February 18, 2025, the parasites reached his heart. This caused myocarditis, and since then he has been bedridden, too weak to travel, and doctors have not yet found a treatment. Every day is a battle that he fights with tenacity and hope — for himself, for his wife Hana, and for his one-year-old son Gabriel. Today, certain medications are providing him some relief, allowing him to speak briefly and move a little, though he still cannot get out of bed.

<div>Anyone who knows Giovanni knows how caring he is, always looking out for others by giving them advice on nutrition and health — I was the first to benefit. In this spirit of service, he and his wife founded the H&amp;G Eden health and wellness center in Hanoi, to help the local population.

<div>Now he is the one who needs care. His wife is doing everything she can to support and help him, while also taking care of their home and little Gabriel. But the center's activity has stopped, and they will soon run out of resources to support the family and pursue further treatments.
</div>

</div>
<div>There is hope: new approaches may lead to a treatment or to bringing him back to France once he is stable enough to travel. In Vietnam, they lack the proper equipment to detect and identify the parasites affecting Giovanni. However, a laboratory in South Korea may be able to perform the necessary analyses. While trying a new antiparasitic medication, we will do everything possible to send samples for analysis to the Korean laboratory. If this does not succeed, we may consider repatriation, but his condition does not yet allow for this.

While waiting for a treatment, Hana must call on new specialists who have to travel and bring the necessary equipment for care, which greatly increases their financial burden, in a country where he is not entitled to social security.
