<div> I am a colleague of Alaa Chemali, a Palestinian journalist from Gaza. Alaa has asked me to create this fundraiser for him and his small family, who are living in a tent because of this war. Alaa is a Palestinian journalist who lost his home in the 2014 war. He bought a replacement home, which was destroyed in the 2021 war without compensation. In this latest war, he again lost his home in 2023 and became homeless in Gaza, where life remains very difficult and they risk death at any moment.

<div>Alaa is trying to save his family by traveling abroad, but it is very expensive and requires at least $22,000 just to arrange the trip and safely leave Gaza. Alaa is trying to secure a decent life for his family by renting a replacement home, especially with discussions on the difficulty of reconstruction, which is expected to take many years before Gaza is rebuilt.

<div>Alaa est un journaliste palestinien qui a perdu sa maison lors de la guerre de 2014. Il a acheté une maison de remplacement qui a été détruite lors de la guerre de 2021 sans avoir été indemnisé jusqu'à présent.

<div>Dans cette dernière guerre, il a encore perdu sa maison en 2023 et est devenu sans-abri à Gaza, où la vie reste très difficile et ils risquent la mort à chaque instant.

<div>Alaa essaie de sauver sa famille en voyageant à l'étranger, mais cela coûte très cher et nécessite au moins 22.000 dollars seulement pour organiser le voyage et sortir en toute sécurité de Gaza.

<div>Alaa essaie de sécuriser une vie décente pour sa famille en louant une maison en remplacement de celle qui a été détruite, surtout avec les discussions sur la difficulté de la reconstruction, qui devrait prendre de nombreuses années avant que Gaza ne soit reconstruite.
