<div>Renée et Martin sont en couple depuis 11 ans et ont eu ensemble deux beaux garçons, Zack (7 ans) et Noah (3 ans). Renée a toujours su ce qu'elle voulait faire dans la vie. Sa passion pour aider les autres et son désir de faire une différence l'ont poussée à devenir orthopédagogue.

<div>Au cours des six dernières années, Renée a souffert de pancréatites chroniques. Elle a consulté plusieurs médecins, subi de nombreuses interventions et procédures, essayé différents médicaments, etc. Malheureusement, cela n'a pas suffi. Aucune cause n'a jamais été donnée, aucun remède n'a été trouvé.

<div>Parallèlement, Renée s'est battue en silence contre des problèmes de santé mentale, et ce pendant de nombreuses années. Elle a cherché de l'aide pour combattre ses démons - elle a consulté des thérapeutes, essayé différents médicaments, etc. Malheureusement, cela n'a pas suffi. Ses démons n'ont jamais été vaincus. Ses difficultés n'ont pas été surmontées.

<div>Renée a été délaissée plus d'une fois par le système de santé, un système qui est sévèrement brisé et qui a désespérément besoin d'être amélioré.

<div>Martin serait le dernier à demander cette aide. Cependant, le décès de Renée et le manque d'assurance ont créé de nombreux défis financiers. Lui et les garçons sont sous le choc et luttent pour trouver une nouvelle normalité. Les familles et les amis de Martin et Renée apprécient toute aide qui peut les aider tous les trois à créer une nouvelle vie dans leur maison familiale.

<div>Renée and Martin have been a couple for 11 years and together had two beautiful boys, Zack (7) and Noah (3). Renée always knew what she wanted to do in life. Her passion for helping others and desire to make a difference drove her to become a remedial teacher.

<div>In the past 6 years, Renée suffered from chronic pancreatitis. She consulted several doctors, underwent numerous interventions and procedures, tried different medications, etc. Sadly, it wasn’t enough. No cause was ever given; no cure was found.

<div>In parallel, Renée silently battled against mental health issues, and thus for many years. She sought help to battle her demons - consulted therapists, tried different medications, etc. Sadly, it wasn't enough. Her demons were never conquered. Her challenges too much overcome.

<div>Renée was failed by the health system more than once, a system that is severely broken and in desperate need of repair.

<div>Martin would be the last to ask for this assistance. However, Renée's passing and lack of insurance have created many financial challenges. He and the boys are in shock and are struggling to find a new normal. Martin and Renée's families and friends appreciate any assistance that can help the three of them create a new life in their family home.
