My name is Aiden, and I’m a student at Berkner High School with a deep passion for learning and history. Summer 2026, I have the chance to join an academic trip to New York, Philadelphia, and Boston—three cities that have played a huge role in shaping our country. This trip is all about exploring the places I’ve read about in textbooks, from the Statue of Liberty and Times Square to the Liberty Bell and the site of the Boston Tea Party. I’ll also get to experience a Broadway show, see the Freedom Clock, and try some amazing local food along the way.

I take my academics seriously and want to soak up as much knowledge as I can before heading off to college. This trip is especially meaningful because I’m interested in attending college in New York or Boston, so it’s the perfect opportunity to get a feel for these cities and see what life might be like there. Every experience on this trip will help me grow, both academically and personally, and give me a better understanding of our nation’s history and culture.
