Kevin Newman Family Memorial Fund

Kevin Newman left this life too soon.  He will be remembered for his quick wit, massive smile, unwavering dedication to his colleagues and patients in the ER and for his ability to give of himself to help the homeless and extended charity work in our community.  More than that, Kevin was a dedicated father who gave his whole heart to his children.  He was at his best when he was throwing his boys in the swimming pool or playing grill master to feed throngs of  family and friends an endless train of hotdogs and hamburgers. He was larger than life in both his physical and spiritual presence.  To that end, we are asking for your compassion and generosity in helping Kevin’s surviving children, Aiden and Uriah Newman. 

If you have met Aiden and Uriah, you only need a moment to feel their innocence and see their father reflected in their smiles. Aiden is currently in the 6th grade and Uriah is in the 2nd grade.  Many of our extended friends and families know that Kevin would hope our community would rally behind his boys in emotional support but we also ask you to consider a monetary donation to the boys financial support for college, school , summer camps and all those things the boys will need.  Kevin would have given his children everything good in this world and we, as his family, will try our hardest to fill his (very big!) shoes.

We have established this fund as a way to make it easy for our families and friends to contribute to Aiden and Uriah and help offset future expenses. Thank you for your thoughts and warm wishes for Aiden and Uriah as we surround them with warmth and love.  Kevin showed many families and friends kindness in their moments of need.  We never expected he would leave us so soon but he left us with an example of compassion and a legacy of memories.
