<div>Je m'appelle Francis Auger-Page et je suis ravi de vous présenter mon prochain projet de court-métrage indépendant, <em>Dernière volonté </em>qui sera tourné ce printemps à Montréal et Felighsburg.

<div>C'est un projet qui me tient à cœur et, surtout, un projet sur lequel je me consacre depuis plusieurs mois avec une équipe talentueuse et dédiée. Je crois beaucoup en ce projet et en ce qu'il apportera créativement. Nous sommes tout près du but, mais nous avons besoin d'un petit coup de pouce pour nous aider à concrétiser ce film.

<div><strong>À propos de moi</strong>

<div>Pour ceux et celles qui ne me connaissent pas, je suis un jeune réalisateur qui a gradué du programme d'études cinématographiques à l'Université Concordia en 2018. J’ai depuis travaillé sur divers petits projets étudiants et indépendants. Plus récemment, j'ai tourné quelques vidéos corporatives ainsi qu’un court-métrage, « Canal 13 » , écrit par Emmanuel Degryse qui s'est retrouvé au festival du film Nikon (2023) ainsi qu'à Fantasia (2024). Ceci est donc notre deuxième collaboration, puisqu'il a également écrit Dernière volonté.

<div>Jusqu'à présent, j'ai toujours tourné des court-métrages de plus petite envergure avec pratiquement aucun budget. Ce court-métrage sera donc mon plus gros projet à ce jour.

<div><strong>Pourquoi Dernière volonté ?</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Dernière volonté raconte l'histoire de Ben, un homme qui est replongé dans ses souvenirs d'enfance après avoir reçu une lettre de son père défunt. C'est une comédie dramatique qui aborde des sujets tels que la réconciliation et la croissance personnelle.
</div>

</div>
<div>Ce film me touche particulièrement, car il évoque une relation père-fils compliquée. Dès la lecture du scénario, j'y ai tout de suite vu le potentiel d'une belle histoire pleine d'émotions. J'ai aussi vu que le scénario contenait tous les ingrédients nécessaires pour incorporer une touche de fantaisie. C'est cette touche de fantaisie qui m'a inspiré à aller de l'avant et à réaliser cette œuvre écrite par Emmanuel Degryse.

<div>For those who don’t know me, I’m a young filmmaker who graduated from the Film Studies program at Concordia University in 2018. Since then, I’ve worked on various small student and independent projects as well as some corporate videos. My most recent short film, Canal 13, written by Emmanuel Degryse (who also wrote Dernière volonté), was screened at Nikon (2023) and Fantasia (2024). Dernière volonté marks my second collaboration with Emmanuel.

<div>Dernière volonté tells the story of Ben, a man who relives his childhood memories after receiving a letter from his deceased father. This dramedy beautifully captures themes of healing, reconciliation and personal growth.
</div>

</div>
<div>This film is particularly meaningful to me because it depicts a complex father-son relationship. From the moment I read the script, I knew it had the potential to be a beautiful, emotional story. The script had all the key components to introduce a hint of fantasy into the narrative, which was one of the main reasons I decided to take on this project written by Emmanuel Degryse.
