Aide for Mercie

Mercedes "Mercie" Courvertier has worked in the Finance & Accounting department since 2008 and most recently was the Travel Coordinator for the contract starting in January of 2017.  In July of 2017, she received word that her father was gravely ill, and she quickly left to be by his side in Puerto Rico. Thankfully, his health has stabilized and they've been able to spend these last few months together enjoying each other's company.  However, they endured Hurricane Maria in September and they are still without power and drinking water.  They live in the mountainous area of Puerto Rico, so it is difficult to reach her via text/call.  Until now, Mercie has been getting by to include doing laundry in the kitchen sink.

 She now needs our help!  We recently received a text from her asking for any help we may be able to provide.   Although we offered to help in the past, she didn't want to trouble us and refused it.  Now that she is asking, I know her situation has gotten much worse.   Please help one of our own.

 Money donated to this fundraiser will be used to purchase much needed items such as water purification tabs, food, nutritional shakes for her Dad, clothing, and other requested items.  The remainder of the donations will go directly into Mercie's account so she will have funds to assist with any future unforseen expenses.
