Aidan Legg - Son of Joanna Perry

Donation protected
Aidan suffered a traumatic brain injury with bleeding and bruising on the brain and multiple facial fractures in an accident on Monday, June 19, 2017 in which he fell off a trailer being pulled very slowly just for a fun time. He hit his head on concrete and has many bumps and bruises in addition to his brain and facial injuries. He is being cared for at Scottish Rite Hospital in Atlanta, GA. Currently, his neurologist and PICU doctors' goals are to keep him stable so that he can undergo surgery to repair facial fractures. At this time, they do not know the extent of Aidan’s brain damage but are hopeful for a full recovery. Aidan has a very long road ahead of him.

Aidan has been smiling since the day he was born! He turned 12 on June 22! He is a fun, loving, kind-hearted, smart boy whose favorite artist is Christian singer, Toby Mac. Aidan enjoys being creative with Legos, building forts with his friends and brother, golfing, playing the trumpet, singing, and playing chess. His favorite radio station is KLove, which plays Christian music and is nationwide. Aidan is an extremely smart boy who makes Honor Roll at school despite his challenges of ADD, Slow Processing Speed, and other challenges.

Aidan is loved dearly by many. His greatest hero is his brother, Grayson (age 14), who is always there for him, especially at the time of the accident in which he jumped into a brave, calm action to get the help his brother needed. Grayson will request to play a huge role in Aidan’s recovery, as he and Aidan are very close.

Aidan’s mother has taken an extended leave from work in order to care for her son. Aidan lives with his mother and brother in Valdosta, GA which is 241 miles from Scottish Rite Hospital. It will be a long journey to recovery in which Aidan will need his mother by his side even once they return to Valdosta for post-hospital care and returns to Scottish Rite for follow-ups. Funds will benefit medical bills that his mother is responsible to pay half of and loss of pay to continue to support both Aidan and his brother.

Thank you for any donation you are able to make. Aidan and his family are grateful and blessed by it. God has healing hands on Aidan and His loving arms wrapped firmly around Aidan giving him great strength.
