Aid For Ponce, PR

My wife, Maruxa, is from Ponce, PR and for the past two years we have lived in her family's home.
Maruxa was in Ponce with her sister as Hurricane Maria moved through.
When I finally spoke to Maruxa after nearly a week without communication she told me the government of Ponce is informing people that they may be without power for 6 months and without water for many weeks.
I will be traveling to Ponce, PR on the 5th of October with the goal of providing aid and supplies to the people of Ponce. I am hoping to provide as much as I can in my carry-ons.
While there are many great organizations, as well as our government, working to bring Puertoricans throughout the island aid, the process has been slow. Many people outside of San Juan are running short on supplies and are without any form of communication.
I think we have the opportunity to make an impact to an area in-need, even while arriving with two suitcases of supplies may seem relatively grassroots.
My Goal is to provide 100 lbs of Water, Batteries, Flashlights, Lanterns, Hand Sanitizer, Baby Wipes, Protein Bars, Water Purification tablets and basic medications to those in need.
