My name is Mallory and I have a 5-year-old miniature Australian Shepherd named Theo. The first week of March 2025, he tore his cranial cruciate ligament in his back left leg while playing with our other 2 Aussies. After getting x-rays, our local vet recommended surgery. Without pet insurance, this will cost approximately $5,000. He is scheduled for surgery on April 25th.

I am trying to save money for this, but unfortunately, yesterday (3/31/25), he snuck out with the other dogs (we have been taking Theo out without the other dogs), and as he started running, he tore the ligament in his back right leg. This leg will also need surgery but cannot be done at the same time. This will be an additional $5,000. I am now looking at a bill that will be close to $10,000. I am asking for any help financially so Theo can walk again.
