<div>On May 8th, our unassuming life was turned upside down when I suffered a stroke. Thankfully, Ryan got me to the ER, I received amazing care, and I’ve been incredibly fortunate. I’m walking. I’m talking. But I didn’t walk away unchanged.

<div>I still have partial loss of sensation on my left side, along with fatigue and physical challenges that make daily life more difficult. Everyday tasks take more energy than they used to, and recovery is slow—but steady.

<div>I’ve returned to work because I have to, but I’m 100% commission-based, and I can’t go at the pace I once did. That means our income is uncertain, right when my focus needs to be on healing and holding things together for my two teenage sons. They’ve been strong and supportive, and I want to provide them with the stability they deserve during this difficult time.
