Hello my name is Jordan Primus and I am posting this in hopes to help my friend out in a way our community can. My dear friend and her family are going through one of the hardest seasons of their lives, and I am asking for help on their behalf.

They have three courageous, funny, and loving boys, a 6 month old, a 3 year old, and a 4 year old. Their dad is a proud Marine Corps veteran who served for 4 years and is now back at the police academy, working hard to complete his policing license so he can serve with the Hermiston Police Department. But time and time again, he’s had to leave training to come home because the kids need him and Taylor has been hospitalized.

Taylor is one of the bravest, strongest people I know. She suffers from severe Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS) and other autoimmune diseases. For over a year now, she has not been able to eat any food at all. The only way she survives is through IV hydration given through a PICC line that goes directly into her heart. While most of us can sit down for a meal without a second thought, she has had to give that up entirely, just to stay alive for the kids.

Her illness has left her weighing only 90 pounds, often bedbound, and struggling to care for her three little ones on her own. She cannot drive due to the medications, cooking a meal for her children is already hard enough. There has been times where Hector has been gone and I’ve personally had to rush over and help Tay. I grew up with Tay throughout high school and it breaks my heart to see her condition now.

On top of this, the family is overwhelmed by mounting hospital bills and the cost of compounded medications that are not covered by insurance. And with little help from extended family, they shoulder the weight of medical expenses, housing, and daily life almost entirely on their own.

Any donation would help them out with:

• Keeping up with rent so their children have a stable home

• Covering groceries and essentials for the children

• Managing ongoing hospital bills, compounded prescriptions, and medical costs

This family has sacrificed so much already, he served our country as a Marine and is working hard to serve our community as a police officer, while Taylor fights every single day just to be here for her kids.
