<div>On January 6th, Ken and Shino Charlson sat together as Shino received a seven-hour chemotherapy and immunotherapy dose to treat Stage 3 ovarian and uterine cancer. On January 8th, their home and livelihoods (a letterpress print shop, music school and music studio) burned to the ground in the Eaton Fire.

<div>Shino’s marvelous letterpress cards (Fugu Fugu Press - all expertly printed by Shino and Ken) can be seen in a thousand retail stores internationally, and her paintings have been published in children’s books, magazines, and displayed in exhibitions (including several at Giant Robot's brilliant GR2 Gallery).

<div>Ken is a terrifically talented musician, and has performed in local venues for thirty years as a jazz pianist, both solo and in bands. He composed, recorded, jammed, and taught piano, guitar and drums in his home studio, a spot and community beloved by students and professional musicians over the past fifteen years.
