UPDATE 8/13: Good Morning, I received the news that Reebok has not taken to the second blood transfusion and the doctors are pretty confident it’s what’s called IMHA (Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia), he has been started on immunosuppressants for the past 24 hours, but he still needs time. He will need yet again another blood transfusion and to stay in the hospital for monitoring. The doctor is unsure how many days or transfusions he will need. Again, to those who have donated already, THANK YOU SO MUCH. We appreciate you more than you’ll ever know.

Hi, I’m Kiah, and on the morning of 8/11/25, Reebok’s appearance was pale and dull. Nonresponsive. We immediately took him into Madison Veterinary Specialists where they have done numerous treatments and diagnostics with no answer as to why his blood cell numbers are so low. He recently had been having GI problems with emptying his stomach, and we’d done an ultrasound at the end of July with no answer again. Unfortunately, we’ve racked up quite a bill on our credit and are asking for help if you were able to give it. Any little bit helps as he’s currently on his second day in the hospital and his second blood transfusion. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this.
