What can I say, horses always find trouble. Red came in from the pasture with a wound on his withers. Thinking not much of it but concerned he may need stitches, I called the vet out. X-rays were taken as a precaution, only to discover that he chipped one of the bones in his withers. The chip, along with a nasty infection, required surgery. Red will have surgery to remove the chip and clear any infection. As my horse family knows, surgery on horses is not cheap, and we would be eternally grateful for any help. Despite any costs, we will do anything and everything to get our Red man through this. Please help only if you can.
