Rafa ran a number of businesses from her home, including the weekly Altadena Farmers' Market and Bay Leaf Mama - a micro green farm and cottage kitchen bakery. She has been running the Altadena Farmers' Market for many years and fought to keep this beloved neighborhood institution alive during the most challenging of circumstances. Rafa has always been here for our community, ensuring residents have affordable access to farm-fresh produce and creating economic opportunities for local food makers and artisans.
