Hello!

Paisley Grace has been dealing with health issues since Week 1 of life. She’s been admitted into Children’s already for her lack of weight gain, and we’re approaching a second admittance. Paisley has not been able to gain weight since birth. We have tried several different formulas, calorie increases, etc. We have officially hit a brick wall; the only option left is a feeding tube. The doctors will be running all sorts of tests, scans, and labs while admitted into the hospital to try to determine why she is not gaining weight. Paisley also has two heart defects that could be the root of the problem. We have a follow-up with the cardiologist in 3 weeks to determine if the defects have resolved on their own or if we’re going to be looking at heart surgery as well. Once admitted, we will not be leaving Children’s until she starts to put on weight, and the problems within her body are found, treated, or a treatment plan is made.

As most of y'all know, we’re a one-income household and also have two other little kids. The next couple of months are going to be extremely hard. I was lined up to start a new job in 2 weeks, but now I will not be able to work as someone will need to be with Paisley 24/7. Listed below are the reasons for the GoFundMe and where the money will be put:

Crib purchase for Paisley as she will constantly be hooked up to machines and tubes and will need a safe space to sleep in. (She currently co-sleeps.)

Travel expenses to and from Children’s for Dad to visit. Mom will be staying with Paisley until she is discharged.

Help cover the missing hours at work. Dad will have to miss quite a lot of work to get our kids to and from school when others can’t help.

Food expenses while in the hospital. Mom will have to eat hospital food for the duration of admittance, and that adds up quickly. And with Dad’s work hours reduced due to having to pick up all the slack with the two older kids, we really can’t afford that.

Fix Our current minivan, it doesnt have working heat or AC and has some other problems with it that will not make it safe for Paisley.
