My husband and I moved to Mississippi almost 4 years ago and were taken back by the amount of strays/dumped dogs we have come in contact with. It was something we couldn’t ignore, so we started taking them in. We vet them and then adopt them out to their forever homes, we usually transport out of state. We quickly realized this is a bigger fight than we anticipated so we are building a small sanctuary and have acquired our LLC and continue to help as many as we can. We receive messages about more pups in need on a regular basis but until we can combat our current vet fees and acquire more fencing, kennels etc we are at a standstill.
