As most of you know, we lost our friend and roommate John on the 1st. It’s been a tough loss emotionally, and it’s also put us in a difficult financial spot.

John was about $600 behind on rent going into June, and he had planned to catch up by the 6th. After he passed unexpectedly on the 1st, we were left not only grieving but also trying to figure out how to cover what’s now an even larger gap for this month’s bills.

It’s been a really hard year overall—between losing my dad in February and other unexpected expenses, we were already stretched thin financially. This has just added to everything.

We’re asking for any help at all to get through this month. Everything would go toward covering rent and bills for June and what’s left from last month. We’re hoping to find someone to take over the room by July, before John’s lease would’ve ended in August.

I’m also offering haircuts or photo sessions for anyone who’s able to help. We just need a little support to get through this stretch.
