Despite being a skilled clinician, she was blindsided by disabling symptoms and immense medical hardship.

<div>Through grit and faith, she pursued answers, underwent a very serious and life changing operation to confirm the diagnosis, and is trying to rebuild and reestablish her health—but not without significant financial burden!

<div>Melissa's recovery has been financially and physically overwhelming. Insurance denied coverage for surgery, and being self-employed, her health insurance is subpar at best. Travel and surgery expenses mounted, and her ability to work disappeared almost overnight. As a sole provider, she now over $21,000 in unpaid medical debt!
