I am currently battling metastatic stage 4 breast cancer. <strong>And my illness has left me unable to care for my family or contribute to our daily needs for nearly one year.</strong> I served others as a compassionate, caring, and loving nurse for nearly two decades. Now I find myself in the position of needing support in return.

Because of my condition, neither of us has been able to work, and our home is now significantly in arrears. <strong>We are at risk of losing our shelter and it has become increasingly difficult to provide food and basic supplies for our children.</strong>
