I’m reaching out during the most difficult and traumatic time of my life. While I can’t share all the details due to an active investigation, I have recently escaped a dangerous and violent domestic situation. My children and I are now safe, but we have endured unimaginable physical and emotional trauma. I fought for our lives during a terrifying week immediately following my return home from the hospital with my newborn daughter, Emi.

I’m currently hospitalized again due to complications from my C-section — severe infection and internal damage that resulted from the abuse I experienced. During that week, I was denied medical care, pain medication, basic hygiene, and was isolated from my children. What I went through was not just abuse — it was survival.

I had quietly saved a small amount of money in preparation to leave, but those funds have now run out. I am down to my last $50, and we are in urgent need of support. I have no financial safety net, and those who have already helped us are stretched thin.

My mother and brother are doing everything they can, staying at the hospital to help care for me and Emi — but the cost of food, gas, and basic needs is quickly draining what little we have left. I am breastfeeding and recovering from major surgery, and I cannot be separated from my baby for long.
