<div>On August 29, 2024 Karissa (27), a Senior Corporal in the Dallas Police Department, was one of the 3 police officers involved in the horrific officer shooting that made national headlines. She spent 5 days in the ICU, and then another 6 days on the trauma floor of a hospital, and then another 7 days in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital and has a long journey ahead.
