Our beautiful mother Jody recently underwent a procedure to correct two aneurysms she had. Unfortunately, during her procedure she had a stroke which caused her to have to undergo another procedure to try to prevent additional swelling and damage. A few days later she had another smaller stroke that occurred in the brain stem which controls her consciousness. She will have a long road to recovery as she will have to relearn how to do many things when she does wake up. Our mother has always been a giving helpful person from working with handicapped children to caring for sickly family members and giving to people in need. She always stood up for what was right and spoke up for those who couldn’t speak up for themselves. She has such a beautiful heart, she’s a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, aunt, friend and has so much more life to live. To make this journey as easy as possible for her we ask for any help that can be given during this trying time. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for caring about her just as much as we do.
