Hello my name is Rebekah, my family and I are raising money for my dad James. On February 1st 2025 my dad suffered a major heart attack, it was sudden and we were completely unprepared for it. James was taken to Portland Adventist where he was then lifeflighted to OHSU where he was admitted to their CVICU. He was touch and go for about a week and a half, fighting hard to stay with us and get better. Our family waited everyday for every update and opportunity to be able to go in and see him while he was fighting. My dad was intubated and sedated for a majority of his time at OHSU however my mom, brother and I were right there with him, giving him as much of our positive energy and love as we possibly could while he was unconscious. Once he started getting a bit better he was transferred to Kaiser’s CVICU which was on February 15th where he remained until March 3. He is now home with us and on his long and slow road to recovery. As a family we’ve had to take time off of work and with my dad not working yet, anything helps. We appreciate all the prayers, thoughts and acts of service we have received through this time and thank you in advance for anything that gets contributed.
