On May 21st, Glen woke up for work like any other day. As he was making his breakfast he started feeling off. He didn’t think much of it and headed to work. On the way to work he started getting really bad chest pain. It was intense enough that he had to pull over for a bit. By the time he made it to work, his pain was really bad in his chest and in his left arm, making his palm numb. He walked into work and his colleagues immediately noticed that he didn’t look right and said he was white as a ghost. They jumped in the car and rushed him to the emergency room. As you probably assumed already, Glen suffered a heart attack. He was rushed from one hospital to another, where he had emergency surgery and 3 stents placed. The surgery was a success. He then recovered for a couple days in the hospital and is now resting at home.
Glen has a beautiful family. I know he would never ask for help- so I wanted to step in and do whatever I could do to help. He has 5 kids, ranging from high schoolers to a newborn baby girl. The medical bills alone will be very intense, and he is not allowed to work for ~6 weeks. I want to help raise money for him and his family to help alleviate some of their stress. The last thing I want them to worry about right now is money. I just hope that he can recover and be a healthy Glen again.
The funds will go directly to helping Glen feed his family and help with the day-to-day expenses that go into raising kids and providing for a family. Any additional money raised will go directly to the medical bills that will flow in over the next couple months.
