My name is Madison Ross and recently, while visiting my grandma in California from Georgia with my boyfriend Brian, he and I were in an accident involving an 18-wheeler semi-truck. We were driving on the freeway when we hydroplaned, spun out, and crashed into the back of a parked semi-truck on the side of the freeway. My grandma was gracious enough to let us drive her car and now it’s totaled. We are so lucky and blessed to even be alive. My boyfriend sustained no injuries, but I broke part of my back and I'm severely bruised and cut. I have never been in this much pain in my life, but more than that, I have never felt so much guilt, stress, and fear for what is to come next. My boyfriend is a student in college out of his home state. I'm so worried about him and I will do whatever I can to help. With everything that's happened, my boyfriend Brian will not be able to make rent, he won’t be able to pay his own car payment and we are scared. I want to help but I don’t know what to do. I'm starting here so I can hopefully take some stress off of both my grandma and Brian’s plate. I'm so sorry. Anything helps.
