<div>On April 28th, tragedy struck in Chatham, Illinois, when a Jeep drove through an after-school program, injuring several children — including the daughter of our dear friends, Laura Weber Tuttle and Phillip Tuttle. Their young daughter, Livi (7) suffered 3 pelvis fractures, skull fractures, along with small brain bleeds. She is currently in the ICU and faces a long road to recovery.

<div>Their son, Leo (10) who was also present, was not physically harmed, but he witnessed the horrific event — something no child should ever have to experience. Leo was a natural born hero assisting EMT’s in locating injured children and staying with his sister taking care of her as the best big brother could.

<div>In total, six children were injured, and four precious lives were lost. We ask that you hold all the families affected in your hearts and join us in lifting them up in prayer as they face unimaginable pain and healing in the days ahead.

<div>This fundraiser is to help ease the financial burden for Tuttle family during this difficult time. Both parents are U.S. Army veterans who served in combat, and they are now stepping away from work to be fully present for their daughter’s medical care and to support their son’s emotional well-being.
