Hello my friends-my name is Linda Saper. You may know me as a friend, relative, or a moderator and administrator of a number of groups on Facebook. I have been involved in helping members begin to expand their careers while becoming more organized and successful. I am a volunteer for the Crisis Text Line, assisting those seeking help to find resources and begin to find their way out of extremely difficult situations. While learning a great deal from this program, I have unfortunately not found my own way out of an unexpected emergency situation of my own. This is why I am making this request for your help today.

My husband and I are finding the aging process a very difficult one, especially physically. 

My husband took a nasty fall in our home a few weeks ago, while sick with the flu—and all the symptoms that come with that type of illness.

The considerable expenses of disposable medical supplies, adult protective supplies (pads, etc) have become impossible to manage with our social-security  limited income. And to make it worse—we no longer drive, and Uber rides to get supplies and prescriptions are very expensive. We have no friends or family in Texas, unfortunately. We have been fortunate enough to have received some funds from local organizations but some of these must be paid back.

Our dear children have helped us as much as possible. They are great kids, but have their own young families to support.

You can only imagine how embarrassing this is for us. If it were not absolutely necessary to ask for help, we would never do so.

Any amount will be appreciated and go directly towards catching up with the absolute necessities we need so badly right now. If you aren’t able to help at this time, we understand— please accept our thanks for reading this request and for your friendship.
