As many of you know, our brother Kainalu has been hospitalized since the end of March. While we want to respect his privacy, we’d like to share a little of what he and our family have been going through. For the past two years, Nalu has been courageously battling kidney failure. Despite ongoing dialysis and treatment, there have been many difficult days. At the end of March, he suffered a severe stroke caused by a brain bleed, leaving him in critical condition and paralyzing the entire right side of his body.

Since then, he has continued to fight with incredible strength, showing progress day by day. We are hopeful for the day he is able to leave the hospital, but his journey will continue in a long-term care facility where he will need ongoing support.

Kainalu is a devoted single father to his three children, and as a family, we are committed to doing everything we can to provide them with as much stability and normalcy as possible during this challenging time. This GoFundMe has been created to help support his children—Tyson, Ta’ina, and Tei’ani.

Tyson has a passion for boxing, and donations will help cover travel expenses for his matches. Ta’ina will be entering her freshman year, and support will go toward her school needs. Tei’ani will be starting 8th grade, and contributions will help with her educational expenses as well.

Our goal is to continue giving these kids the support, care, and opportunities they deserve. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will make a meaningful difference, and we are deeply grateful for your kindness and generosity.
