Aid For Domestic Violence Victims

Domestic violence is the most prevalent form of gender-based violence, often the most frequently reported crime to law enforcement, and arguably the one with the greatest damaging effect on children and youth.

Unfortunately, many victims of domestic violence are forced to remain home with their abusers now more than ever due to the ongoing health crisis deriving from COVID-19. 

Next Door Solutions to Domestic Violence’s (NDS) has a mission to end domestic violence in the moment and for all time – creating paths for survivors from crisis to safety, stability, and self-reliance. Next Door Solutions is entirely dedicated to addressing the impact of domestic violence and intimate partner violence at the individual and the community level.

Next Door Solutions is the only stand-alone, domestic violence agency in Santa Clara County, answering approximately 15,000 crisis calls and serving an average of 3,000 survivors of domestic violence annually. Their bilingual services are available free of charge to all women, men, LGBTQ and individuals across the gender spectrum and of varying abilities.
