Hello, my name is Gabrielle. I am seeking to fundraise to help my best friend Brandy and her family to afford her father David’s funeral expenses.

Our loved one David Shade is currently on life support. They have stated that there is no chance for survival. It’s with a heavy heart that we start this go fund me. We didn’t know when he was admitted to BMC on January 13, 2025 for shortness of breath that later the family found out was COVID and never imagined that two weeks later we would be faced with this heart breaking decision. On January 14, 2025 David suffered a heart attack and coded (no one knows how much time had passed before he was found). During resuscitation he sustained a punctured lung. He shortly after became septic. While on life support he had a few strokes which led to brain damage. David will leave behind his wife Colleen and 6 children (David, Brandy, Kenny, Brianna, Ethan, and Matthew), one of which is an autistic 12 year old. David is a loving husband, dad, brother, son, and all around a great person. His wife Colleen and family would appreciate any help with the final expenses that you can help with.
